Intent to proceed
What it means
After you receive a Loan Estimate, you tell the lender you intend to proceed when you choose that offer. Lenders generally cannot charge fees other than a credit report fee before you do. If you wait more than ten business days to indicate intent, the lender may issue a revised estimate.
